Diversiplás is a project aimed at recovering and reusing plastic waste from seafood activities in the Costa da Morte region of Spain and the neighbouring municipalities where the workspace is located. They are aiming to have a local impact in the rural areas surrounding the space. Coordinated by the Asociación Integro and supported by Galp Costa da Morte and the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund. The project’s objectives are to promote the social inclusion of people with functional diversity, preserve the Costa da Morte’s natural environment, create a collaborative dynamic for implementing circular economy projects, and help the association develop a new revenue stream by recycling plastic locally in their space.
